Product Description
This Danaher (NEAT / Dover) XY linear table appears to be a smaller version of the current RMS Compact stage. It is composed of two linears, each having 6 inches of travel. The stage platforms run on paired recirculating bearing tracks. The leadscrew is multi-pitch for exceptionally fast traverse. There are (Hall effect?) limit sensors for the stage platform. Each linear is 7 inches long by 2 inches wide. The table platform is 1.375 inches tall and 1.25 by 2 inches. The motors (LIN Engineering type 421BL-04D-02) add another 4 inches to the length and increase the height of the axis to 3.250 inches. There is a Deltran PT BRP-15Z brake assembly on each axis.
Overall height of the assembly is extended to 3.500 inches by the addition of a small fixture plate 0.25 inches thick. Assembly will require a 0.25 inch spacer block if motor housing from the second axis cannot be placed beyond the baseplate. Each axis has separate 9-pin D connectors for limit sensors and motor control. The linears may be separated very easily if desired.
