Product Description
This is an Ealing Vertical Slide Unit, one of the modular components of their triangular optical bench series. The catalog number is 22-4089. It includes a built-in pillar with a graduated Z-axis height range of 25mm, adjustable via a knob-driven leadscrew. The vertical slide may be attached directly to the various triangular bench carriers, or a transverse slide can be interposed for combining transverse and vertical motions on a single carrier.
The pillar is bored to accept post of 13.7mm diameter, with an eccentric bore opposite the thumb screw so smaller diameter posts (down to 10mm) may be securely clamped accurately. Maximum height of the pillar is 90mm.
The vertical slides are in excellent condition. Most are gray color, although we occasionally see the later black ones.
