This is a very unusual mount. It is a Klinger (later merged with Micro Controle) four-axis optical mount. There is one orthogonally placed pair of spindles to achieve a small amount of motion in the Y and Z direction (optic axis being X). There is an additional pair of spindles for adjustment in a theta plane, also oriented in the X and Y directions. The mounting plate is 57mm in diameter. This mount is supplied with the plate with an RMS objective thread. The two parts supplied together form catalog number 133 321.

The mounts are in superb condition. All steel construction without any corrosion. The two flats (parallel to the Y and Z adjustment directions) are tapped to accept the optional 80mm diameter mounting plate, part number 133 157. Mounting plate is not included.
