Product Description
This Ealing lens mount is a component in their Research Optical Bench product line. These components have standard threaded cells of either 5 inches or 9 inches diameter. This particular unit has a 5 inch thread. It is meant for vertical positioning of various elements that thread into the ring (numerous adapters were made for smaller diameter threads).
The dimensions of the frame include:
Height = 6.625 inches
Depth of foot = 2.625 inches
Width of foot (and frame) = 6.312 inches
Height of optic axis = 3.5 inches
Thread depth = 0.625 inches
Thread pitch = 12 TPI
The bracket is in mint condition. The Ealing part number is 23-1703.
