This item is a massive diagonal mirror complete with a 45-degree mounting. The minor axis of the mirror is 100mm, and the glass plate is 20mm thick. The mirror is cemented to the holder with additional clamping brackets for added security. The mirror base is roughly six inches in diameter with three mounting tabs extending from the base at 120-degree interval.

The mirror is first surface, and appears to have a conventional aluminum coating. The mirror itself is in perfect condition – there are a couple of very small scratches in the coating that only extend a couple of mm from the edge (see last photo). The base for the mirror has a fine adjustment for critically setting the 45-degree angle. There are two part numbers on the holder. The first is printed on the side of the casting, that being 630-700096-00. The second number is actually a part of the casting. It is similar, 601-700095-00 followed by a cast ‘A’ with a printed ‘2’.
