This is an Aerotech gimbal mirror mount. It will accept lenses or optics up to 2” in diameter, however these units lack the pair of retaining rings used to secure and position the mirror. Unlike the more expensive AOM 110 series, the 105 series lack the super-precision thimble adjustments.
Angular resolution of the control knob is 3.01 arc seconds per 0.5 degrees of rotation. Thimble is graduated into 32 parts, each representing 1 minute, 7 seconds
Full range of motion is plus/minus five degrees in each plane
Maximum component diameter is 2.04”
Maximum component thickness is 15mm
Overall width of the base is 3.94”
Depth of the base is 1.04”
Nominal clear aperture at zero degrees is 1.75”
Optic axis height is 1.97”
These mounts are all in very fine condition and fully functional. They may have very minor cosmetic issues such as tiny scratches in the finish, or minor fading of anodized parts. Part number is AOM 105-2.
