Product Description
This item is a Davidson Optronics Plane-Parallel Adjustable Reference Mirror, type D-616. The mirror element is either Zerodur or quartz (it isn’t marked which, and both are available) and the dimensions of the mirror are 3.50” x 1.87” x 0.97”. The mirror is plane parallel to within 1 arc second, and polished flat to one quarter fringe. Both surfaces are coated to MIL-spec M-13508.
The holder for the mirror is 2.875” wide and deep, and 4.50” tall. The mirror may be rested either on the three stainless feet, or on its side. There are two very fine brass adjustment screws for setting Azimuth through a range of 4 degrees, and Elevation through a range of 2 degrees.
The mirror comes in a fitted hardwood cabinet. Both the mirror and the cabinet are in flawless condition.
