Hewlett Packard 10724A Plane Mirror, 1st Grade

This item is an HP 10724A Plane Mirror. It is a component in the Hewlett-Packard Laser Interferometry Distance Measurement Apparatus. The mirror is used in conjunction with various 1.5” cube interferometer bodies. Unlike a corner-cube retroreflector, the plane mirror must be critically aligned to the interferometer. Only the leveling screws are present – the special spring-loaded attachment screws are lacking. The device is also missing the label, but is otherwise in near-perfect condition.
