This is an HP 10722A Plane Mirror Converter window. It consists of a glass wedge that allows mounting a 10702A Linear Interferometer in a fixed position with a retroreflector attached to the moving component of a stage. It is a component in the Hewlett-Packard Laser Interferometer Distance Measurement Apparatus. The window is attachable to the 1.5” size interferometer bodies.
These components have been removed from various fixtures. They meet our requirements for first quality used interferometer components. All optical surfaces are free of blemishes and there are no gouges or distortions in any of the parts that would in any way impede accuracy of measurements. Cosmetically these components appear only lightly used, if not new. Unlike new components, however, no hardware is included. The only cosmetic issue with this particular window is the missing HP label with the nomenclature, hence the slightly lower price.
