These tubular optical benches are 4.25 inches across opposite flats. They are extruded aluminum and hollow for weight reduction. The ends of the benches have a 3" diameter bolt circle (1/4-20 tapped) for attachment of numerous bench accessories allowing multiple benches to be assembled into very elaborate structures. The four optical benchs each include a metric scale divided into single mm. The dovetail bench profile accepts the 'standard' size carriers.
This bench is 2 meters long and is in excellent condition. There were some burrs on the ends of the bench from careless handling, but these have been removed to restore completely flat profiles on all four ways. One end of the bench has a custom made end-mounting plate of 1 inch thick aluminum. Bench catalog number is 10840.
