Product Description
This item consists of a linear sledge on top of which there is a square rotary platform. The sledge runs on a pair of IKO LWF40 linear ball bearings with integral lubrication fittings. The rotary motion is accomplished by a massive rotary bearing.
• Base dimensions - 10.75 x 7 inches, 0.5 inches thick
• Upper table dimensions - 7 x 7 inches, 0.5 inches thick
• Overall height - 5 1/16 inches
• Unencumbered continuous rotary motion
• Approximately 6 inches linear motion without bearing overtravel
The system may be mounted in either orientation (rotary down or linear down). The manufacturer is unknown, but the bolt-hole patterns match those of the Design Components DC44 series of stages.
The stage is in excellent condition. The slides were covered in cosmolene (partially cleaned for the photos), and appear to be in near-unused condition. Both motions work very smoothly throughout their range.
