EG&G Princeton Applied Research Model 1235 Digital Triple Grating Spectrograph. This instrument was, until recently, manufactured by Acton Research Corporation (ARC, of Acton, Ma).

Includes monochromator, model 275 (Acton Research Corp. )
- Grating 1 – 147.5 g/mm @ blaze 300nm, ruled
- Grating 2 – 600 g/mm @ blaze 500nm, ruled
- Grating 3 – 1200 g/mm @ blaze 240nm, ruled

One side has a 25 micron fixed slit, the other side does not have a slit, but has the faceplate to accept a detector, such as the 1456B.

The spectrometer includes a control unit, as shown, however, the connection cable between the monochromator and the control unit is NOT included (we used a cable from a different unit to test functionality). Control unit serial number matches the spectrometer, and the gratings are correctly indicated.

The instrument performed flawlessly. All three gratings appear to be in perfect condition, and the two collimator mirrors are completely free of scratches and haze. Please see photographs of the interior.
